Own Catered Weddings

Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa is one of the best known venues in the North West for it’s expertise in assisting Bridal parties that require outside catering.  Having created weddings and events for  parties requiring Africian, Asian, Greek & Jewish Menus , our specialist team have the expertise to make your day so very special and would be delighted to discuss your requirements.

 We can accommodate functions for up to 500 guests (depending on your specific requirements).  The Torintone Suite is completely self contained and has its own kitchen,  ideal for your chosen caterer.  We work with a number of prominent caterers,  if you haven't already chosen your own (subject to our health and safety checks). 

The Torintone is fully air conditioned, has its own PA system & has multi coloured ceiling mounted LED lights.

£6,000 room hire to include:

Saturday & Sunday & Bank Holiday Mondays in September - June

£5,000 room hire to include

Monday - Friday (excludes bank holiday Monday)

£4,500.00 room hire to include

  • Stage base
  • Red carpet
  • Black & White Dancefloor if required

 

Additional costs

  • Security Deposit - £1,000.00.  This will be built into your payments & will be returned after your wedding as long as everything is returned the way we gave it to you
  • Staff - available to hire at £10.00 per staff member per hour.  Minimum of 4 hours hire.  Bank holiday Monday or Friday will be £20.00 per staff member per hour
  • A dressing room can be hired at £75.00 per day available from 7am subject to availability
  • Drinks Package - cost on application
  • Civil ceremony room hire / outdoor ceremony charge- £450.00 (registrar fees are separate)
  • Bedrooms - you will be allocated 10 bedrooms at a discounted rate. Rate varies depending on the day of the week & month of the year

 

Venue Dressing

  • Ice chairs - £2.00 per chair for up to 350 chairs.  Any additional chairs will be hired in at £3.00 per chair
  • Chair covers & bow - £1.75 per chair
  • Starlight backdrop - 1 x 9m panel - £160.00, 2 x 9m panels - £300.00, Full Torintone Suite - £1,000.00
  • Centre pieces available from £10.00 per table
  • Stage dressing from £500
  • Coloured napkins - £1.00 per napkin
  • Large Blossom Trees - £100.00 for 2 trees
  • Post Box £30.00

Caterers

  • You are welcome to bring along any caterer.  They must be able to provide us with public liability insurance & food hygiene certificates
  • Caterers will be asked to sign an agreement prior to the event for cleaning, conduct & removal of rubbish
  • Caterers who have not been to our venue must come for a site visit prior to your event
  • Caterers are to provide a risk assessment for any equipment they wish to bring in along with PAT testing / Safety for all equipment.  We can PAT test each item for £15.00 per item
