Fab Fashion show in aid of the The Jellybean Kids' Appeal...

Nearly 300 guests watched this amazing show on March 5th which was organised by Morgan Dowler (Student of Birkenhead School), Ina Schmidt (Marketing Manager af Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa) and Debbie Green (Fundraising Manager of the Jellybean Kids' Appeal). The night was to help raise funds for a Children's Cardiac Scanner through the Jellybean Challenge 2009 and was held in the Torintone Suite at Thornton Hall. The show was kindly sponsored by Natallia Boutique in Heswall. The scanner is a vital piece of equipment that is needed for the Childrens Department at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

"It was a great evening and I am proud to say that we raised over £4.000 pounds for Jellybeans" says Ina Schmidt. Thornton Hall Hotel was one of the first companies to sign up to take part in the The Jellybean Challenge 2009 which started at the beginning of March and will run until July, with a target of £80.000 pounds. There is still time for companies to become involved by contacting the Trust's Appeals Office (604 7469).

"It was Morgan's idea, last year to do a fashion show in aid of the Jellybean Kid's Appeal and by introducing her to Ina Schmidt - "Marketing guru" for Thornton Hall Hotel it was just the best team and a most fantastic start to the challenge" adds Debbie Green, Fundraising Manager of The Jellybeans Kids' Appeal.

Carley Stenson, who plays "Steph" in Hollyoaks came to support the show and spent the whole afternoon with the students. Carly who is a friend of Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa also kindly modelled one of the beautiful evening dresses from Natallia Boutique.
