Guests will be able to avoid wrestling with sticky tape, fighting with wrapping paper and getting into a tizzy tying bows by handing over the chore to the hotel team.
On the first two Sundays in December (6th and 13th) guests can have their gifts wrapped for just £2 each, with all the proceeds going to Clare House. Those who really want to put their feet up can enjoy afternoon tea or Sunday lunch while the wrapping is underway.
The hotel has long been a favourite place to stay for Christmas shoppers and this year guests can also take advantage of a 10% off voucher when they shop at Cheshire Oaks.
Geoff Dale, general manager of Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa said: “We’re giving the hotel residents a little something extra with the shopping discount at Cheshire Oaks, so we thought it only right to try and raise some money for charity too.
“Lots of people hate wrapping presents, me included, so a present wrapping service is a great way to let weary shoppers take the weight off their feet, and some weight out of their wallets for a good cause too. “
