Altitude Studio Wins Design Contract For Thornton Hall Hotel
Architectural interior design company, Altitude Studio, has won a contract from Thornton Hall Hotel on the Wirral for the re-design and refurbishment of the two award winning restaurants, bar area and health spa.
The restaurants, offering both modern and traditional decor, will have new carpets, lighting, wall coverings, curtains and furniture. The spa’s display cabinets, bespoke reception desk, stainless steel stairs and furniture, will also be sourced by the company.
Altitude Studio’s individual approach blends creativity, vision and energy with the practicalities of liaising with lighting designers, furniture suppliers and an extensive list of top quality sub-contractors, as Andrew Thompson of Thornton Hall explains: “We were impressed by the company’s design schemes following a presentation of visuals and 3-D representations by Managing Director, Sharon Snape.
“The design capability, however, was not the only element that swayed our decision. The company’s professional approach was both practical and thorough.”
Thornton Hall, famous for its wedding, banqueting and conferences facilities, is a four star, family owned hotel built in the Victorian era as a home for the Bamford family, Liverpool’s shipping magnates. The refurbishment is due for completion in September 2008.
Altitude Studio, based in Blackburn, Lancashire, challenges the standard within the commercial, residential and exhibition markets and has managed a variety of projects, including offices, hotels and restaurants.
